Mondial

The white the wedding trade measures every other white against. Mondial is a true bright white with a tight, sculptural spiral that keeps its architecture from bud through full open — where Vendela warms toward ivory cream, Mondial stays clean and cool under any lighting. Its blush sport Pink Mondial carries the same disciplined form in pink; this is the original.

The grow story

A Lex+ breeding-house classic from the Netherlands, grown at 3,200 meters in our own production in Cayambe, Ecuador, high in the Andes. White roses show every flaw, and altitude is the quality control: intense equatorial light builds substance into each petal while the cold mountain nights slow the bloom, so heads arrive dense, thick-walled, and resistant to the transit bruising that marks lowland whites. Every harvest is cut, hydrated, graded, and cold-packed within 48 hours of leaving the block.

Bridal work above everything — bouquets, ceremony structures, all-white tablescapes. Also the default for formal corporate events and any palette where white has to read crisp rather than cream. Care notes

Re-cut at 45° under running water; first hydration in 95–100°F water with preservative. Store at 34–38°F. Handle by the stem — white petals telegraph fingerprints. Keep guard petals on until the piece is built; they shield the clean interior in transit. Moderately ethylene-sensitive; standard cooler discipline applies.
