Shimmer
The signature warm peach. Grown in our own production at 3,200 meters altitude in Cayambe, Ecuador.
The luminous peach. Shimmer earns its name with a petal surface that catches light — a fresh, glowing peach-coral that sits brighter and pinker than Kahala's antique sandiness. The 58-petal cup opens into a relaxed garden face with a soft gradient from coral edges to a cream-lit center, giving designers the "lit from within" quality that flat-toned peaches can't fake.
The grow story
Grown at 3,200 meters in our own production in Cayambe, Ecuador, high in the Andes. That luminosity is a structural trick of thick, water-dense petal cells — and cell density is what cold mountain nights build. The slow high-altitude cycle lets all 58 petals develop the substance that scatters light, while the equatorial sun keeps the coral pigment fresh instead of letting it fade toward beige. Each harvest is cut, hydrated, graded, and cold-packed within 48 hours of leaving the block.

Best for
Spring and summer weddings in peach-coral palettes, golden-hour outdoor events where the petal surface earns its keep, shower and brunch programs, and photography-led briefs — Shimmer reads a full stop brighter on camera than in the cooler. 50 cm for centerpiece work; 60 cm for bouquets. Layer the peach range from our wholesale rose range.
Pairs beautifully with
- Kahala (antique peach garden rose) for the muted-against-luminous pairing
- Salma (salmon peach-pink) for the standard-form tonal partner
- Paloma (rose-washed cream) to soften the recipe's edges
- Spray Rose Peach to repeat the tone in miniature
- Eucalyptus Baby Blue for cool foliage contrast
Care notes
Re-cut at 45° under running water; first hydration in 95–100°F water with preservative, then hold at 34–38°F. The cup opens over two to three days and the coral brightens as it does. Peach tones bruise visibly — handle by the stem, sleeves on until the build. Moderately ethylene-sensitive; standard cooler discipline applies.
