The peach-pink with the green heart. Princess Crown opens 48 lavishly ruffled petals in a gradient that runs soft peach at the outer edges through dusty pink toward the center — and at the very heart, when the bloom fully opens, a delicate green eye reveals itself. Kordes breeding tuned for the garden-rose silhouette without the garden-rose handling fragility, with petal edges so wavy each bloom looks individually arranged.

The grow story

Grown at 3,200 meters in our own production in Cayambe, Ecuador, in the high Andes. Multi-tone gradients live or die on petal-by-petal pigment consistency — most peach-pink roses skew either too orange or too rose under transit stress. The cold Andean nights set both pigments in stable layers; the slow high-altitude cycle gives the green-eye center time to develop, which lower-altitude or warm-climate crops rarely manage. Cut, hydrated, graded, and cold-packed within 48 hours of harvest.

Best for

Romantic and garden-style wedding palettes, vintage and editorial event work where the green eye becomes the photographic feature, bridal bouquets at the focal layer, and any recipe where peach and pink need to share one stem. The ruffled wavy edges give Princess Crown a distinctly luxurious read at close range. Build the soft palette from our wholesale rose range.

Pairs beautifully with

  • Pomarosa (light blush) for the matched peach-pink build
  • Salma (salmon peach-pink) to deepen the peach note
  • Quicksand (champagne taupe) for the antique-romantic palette
  • Hydrangea Green to echo the green-eye center
  • Ranunculus for layered petal texture beside the ruffled head

Care notes

Re-cut at 45° under running water; first hydration in 95–100°F water with preservative, then hold at 34–38°F. Allow two to three days for the bloom to fully open and reveal the green eye — the gradient peaks at full open form. Moderately ethylene-sensitive; standard cooler discipline applies. The ruffled outer petals bruise visibly — handle by the stem, sleeve until the first re-cut.
