Mondial's blush-pink sport, and it inherited the family discipline: the same tight, sculptural spiral, the same slow and controlled opening — just washed in a cool baby pink that photographs the way brides imagine pink should. Next to the saturated punch of Pink Floyd or Hot Explorer, Pink Mondial sits at the quiet end of our pink range, closer to ivory than to fuchsia. If your client says "soft pink but not bubblegum," this is the answer.

The grow story

Pink Mondial is a sport of the Lex+ classic Mondial, discovered as a natural color mutation and stabilized into its own commercial variety. In our own production at 3,200 meters in Cayambe, Ecuador, the cool Andean nights keep the pink from blowing out — at lower altitudes this color tends to fade toward white by day three. Here the blush holds to the end of vase life. Cut, graded, and cold-packed within 48 hours of harvest.

Best for

Weddings, first and always — bridal bouquets, blush-and-ivory palettes, romantic centerpiece work. Strong for baby showers, spring events, and any design where pink has to stay quiet and let texture do the talking. The 50 cm length is economical for low centerpieces; reserve 70 cm for ceremony structures. Build the rest of the palette from our wholesale rose range.

Pairs beautifully with

  • Mondial (white) — the natural sibling pairing for blush-ivory work
  • Hermosa (pastel pink) for tonal pink layering
  • Quicksand (champagne nude) for the modern muted palette
  • Vi Pink (medium pink) to step the tonal gradient
  • Hydrangea Pink for soft volume

Care notes

Re-cut at 45° under running water; first hydration in 95–100°F water with preservative. Store at 34–38°F away from direct light — pale pinks show stress before dark colors do. Like Mondial, it ships with guard petals worth keeping in place until final design. Moderately ethylene-sensitive.

What working pros say

"I quote Pink Mondial for every blush wedding because it behaves exactly like white Mondial — same head, same timing, same spiral. I can mix the two in one bouquet and the geometry just matches."

— Wedding floral designer, Texas (10 yrs experience)

"The blush doesn't fade on me. I've had pinks turn white by the reception — Pink Mondial holds its color from delivery through teardown."

— Event florist, Midwest (14 yrs experience)
