Pandora
The signature magenta-leaning hot pink. Grown in our own production at 3,200 meters altitude in Cayambe, Ecuador.
A peach-to-coral bicolor with a dense, ruffled 50-petal head that opens like a garden rose without the garden-rose handling risk. Where Salma settles into a soft, even peach-pink, Pandora runs a real gradient inside each bloom — pale peach at the center deepening to coral at the outer petals — which is why one Pandora head can carry a whole sunset palette on its own.
The grow story
Grown in our own production at 3,200 meters in Cayambe, Ecuador — Andean altitude that no irrigation schedule or greenhouse film can replicate. The mechanism is simple: punishing equatorial light by day builds pigment and petal count; near-frost nights slow everything down so the bloom invests in substance instead of speed. That slow build is where Pandora's gradient and its unusually full head come from. Harvests are cut, hydrated, graded, and cold-packed within 48 hours.

Best for
Sunset and terracotta palettes, late-summer and early-fall weddings, editorial work that wants garden-rose fullness with standard-rose durability. The high petal count means fewer stems per arrangement read full — designers price Pandora pieces accordingly. The 70 cm grade suits installation work; 60 cm covers the rest. Build the warm range from our wholesale rose range.
Pairs beautifully with
- Salma (peach-pink) to flatten the gradient into a tonal field
- Shimmer (peach garden spray) for matched-tone texture
- Kahala (cream-peach) to lighten the palette upward
- Hermosa (pastel pink) for soft contrast
- Dusty Miller for silver foliage against the coral
Care notes
Re-cut at 45° under running water; hydrate in 95–100°F water with preservative. Store at 34–38°F. The dense head wants sleeve support until the first re-cut, then room to expand — crowded buckets flatten the outer coral petals. Moderately ethylene-sensitive; standard cooler rules apply.
What working pros say
"Pandora opens huge and ruffled — clients assume it's a garden rose and it costs me a fraction of the handling headaches. I build whole sunset weddings on it."
— Event floral designer, Great Lakes region (13 yrs experience)
"The gradient is the sell. One variety reads as three colors in a centerpiece, and the stem math gets very friendly when each head covers that much visual ground."
— Studio florist, Northeast (9 yrs experience)
