The grow story

Grown at 3,200 meters in our own production in Cayambe, Ecuador, high in the Andes. Hot pinks live or die on pigment density, and pigment is exactly what altitude buys: cold nights slow respiration so color compounds accumulate, and the intense equatorial sun drives the saturation deeper with every cycle. Lowland hot pinks fade toward bubblegum by day four; Full Monty holds its magenta to the end. Cut, graded, and cold-packed within 48 hours of harvest.

Care notes

Re-cut at 45° under running water; first hydration in 95–100°F water with preservative. Store at 34–38°F. Saturated pinks bruise visibly — handle by the stem and keep guard petals on through transport. Moderately ethylene-sensitive; standard cooler discipline applies.
