High & Orange
The signature bright orange. Grown in our own production at 3,200 meters altitude in Cayambe, Ecuador.
The solid one in the High & family. Where High & Magic and High & Yellow Flame build their drama from a yellow base and a burned edge, High & Orange commits to a single saturated mandarin tone from heart to margin — no gradient, no two-tone read. When the brief calls for orange that photographs as orange under any lighting, this is the stem that does it without negotiation.
The grow story
Grown at 3,200 meters in our own production in Cayambe, Ecuador, on the high Andean plain. Orange pigment is carotenoid-heavy and fades fast in heat; the cold nights at this altitude slow respiration and keep the tone dense through the petal, while the intense equatorial light builds it deep in the first place. The result is an orange that stays vivid through vase life instead of softening toward apricot. Cut, conditioned, graded, and cold-packed within 48 hours of harvest.

Best for
Fall and Thanksgiving work, terracotta and rust palettes, brand activations needing a literal orange, and Día de los Muertos designs where marigold tones lead. The 35-petal head opens quicker than denser varieties — useful when install day is close. 50 cm is efficient for compact centerpieces; 60 cm carries bouquets. Build the warm run from our wholesale rose range.
Pairs beautifully with
- Atomic (deep orange) to darken the orange run
- Momentum (golden yellow) for the citrus-adjacent step down
- Salma (peachy pink) to soften the palette
- Craspedia (yellow buttons) for graphic accent texture
- Ruscus for deep green contrast against the heat
Care notes
Re-cut at 45° under running water; first hydration in 95–100°F water with preservative. Store at 34–38°F. With a lighter petal count, High & Orange moves from bud to open faster than most of our roses — receive closer to event day than you would a dense-headed variety. Moderately ethylene-sensitive.
What working pros say
"Most 'orange' roses arrive coral and I have to re-plan the palette on the spot. High & Orange is the one that comes out of the box the color I ordered."

"It opens fast and clean, so I bring it in two days before install instead of five. That shorter runway is a real scheduling advantage in fall."
