Vi Pink

The grow story

Grown at 3,200 meters in our own production in Cayambe, Ecuador, in the high Andes. A clean mid-pink demands even pigment — any stress blotching shows immediately on a petal this legible. The steady cold of Andean nights lays anthocyanin down in uniform layers while the consistent equatorial day-length keeps every cutting on the same schedule, which is why a Vi Pink box opens even, head after head. Cut, hydrated, graded, and cold-packed within 48 hours of harvest.

Care notes

Re-cut at 45° under running water; first hydration in 95–100°F water with preservative, then hold at 34–38°F. Vi Pink holds its color from bud through full open with minimal fade — safe to buy against a swatch. Standard rose handling; moderately ethylene-sensitive, so keep ripening fruit out of the cooler.
