Candy Xpression
The signature magenta-leaning hot pink. Grown in our own production at 3,200 meters altitude in Cayambe, Ecuador.
The biggest garden-rose head in our pink range. Candy Xpression packs 95 densely cupped petals into a 7.5 cm bloom — De Ruiter's 2022 release that put real garden-rose volume into a long-vase-life standard body. The color reads vivid candy pink at the outer petals and deepens to peach-saturated rose at the center, a built-in gradient that makes a single head read as a recipe of its own. The garden-rose sibling to Pink Xpression's rosette form — same family, bigger and softer.
The grow story
Grown at 3,200 meters in our own production in Cayambe, Ecuador, in the high Andes. Ninety-five petals at 7.5 cm is petal-count economics at the edge of what a rose can support — each layer needs full pigment load, and only the slow Andean cycle gives the bloom that much build time. Cold nights bank the candy-pink tone deep, the equatorial sun saturates the peach center, and the dense head still ships and handles like a standard rose. Cut, hydrated, graded, and cold-packed within 48 hours of harvest.

Best for
Garden-style and English-cottage wedding palettes, romantic blush-and-pink event work, bridal bouquets where one focal carries the whole recipe, and any brief that demands real garden-rose volume at standard-rose economics. The built-in center-to-edge gradient means designers spec fewer stems per arrangement and still get the recipe to read full. Layer the pink palette from our wholesale rose range.
Pairs beautifully with
- Pink Xpression (vivid pink rosette) for the family tone-on-tone build
- Pink O'Hara (English-style pink garden rose) for matched form variety
- Vi Pink (clear medium pink) for standard-form mid-layer
- Pink Mondial (blush) to lighten the palette upward
- Eucalyptus Silver Dollar for the gray-green frame
Care notes
Re-cut at 45° under running water; first hydration in 95–100°F water with preservative, then hold at 34–38°F. Ninety-five petals takes two to three days to open fully — order with the event date in mind. The dense cup wants sleeve support through transit, then room to expand. Moderately ethylene-sensitive; standard cooler rules apply.
What working pros say
"Candy Xpression is my one-stem-equals-three move. Bride wants a romantic recipe, budget says fifteen stems, I quote ten of these and the design lands fuller than she pictured."

"The peach center is the photograph. From across the table it reads pink; up close the camera finds that gradient and the image gets sold."
