Asiatic Lily
The signature bright orange. Grown by curated partner growers across the Ecuadorian and Colombian highlands.
The lily for clients who want lilies without the perfume. Asiatic lilies carry upward-facing, open-faced blooms in the cleanest saturated colors of the lily family — and unlike their Oriental cousins, they are essentially unscented, which makes them the safe spec for restaurants, corporate lobbies, and any venue where fragrance is a liability. Each stem carries multiple buds that open in sequence, so an arrangement built on Tuesday keeps producing fresh blooms through the weekend.
The grow story
Grown by our partner specialty growers in the Ecuadorian and Colombian highlands, working under cold-chain standards equivalent to Magnaflor's own production at Cayambe. Lilies build bud count on cool nights and steady light, and the highland climate delivers both year-round — stems arrive with four to six buds where warm-climate crops average three. Partner growers are vetted for color stability and head consistency that match our quality bar; stems ship at the colored-bud stage for maximum vase life on arrival.

Best for
Restaurant and hospitality programs where scent is off-limits, bold corporate arrangements, summer event work in citrus palettes, and retail bunches that need to look bigger every day they sit. The sequential bud opening makes Asiatics one of the highest perceived-value stems in retail. Anchor them against focals from our wholesale rose range.
Pairs beautifully with
- Mandarin Xpression (intense orange rose) for the citrus build
- Shimmer (peach-coral) to soften the heat
- Solidago for golden spray texture between blooms
- Craspedia for graphic yellow dots in modern work
- Lily Grass for sweeping line work over the open faces
Care notes
Remove anthers as each bloom opens — lily pollen stains petals, linens, and clothing permanently once it sets. Re-cut at 45° and hydrate with preservative; strip foliage below the water line. Moderately ethylene-sensitive; keep fruit out of the cooler and hold at 34–38°F. A worthwhile client note: all lilies are toxic to cats, so flag it for household deliveries.
