Grown by our partner specialty growers in the Ecuadorian and Colombian highlands, working under cold-chain standards equivalent to Magnaflor's own production at Cayambe. Sunflowers track the equatorial light fast — partner farms run them as a quick-turn crop, seeding weekly so cutting stays continuous, and harvest just as the petals lift off the face for maximum vase life. Care notes

Sunflowers are the heaviest drinkers in the cooler — a bucket that lasted other flowers three days is dry in one. Check water daily, re-cut at 45°, and use preservative; the thick stems foul water quickly, so change it every two days. Heads are heavy: store stems upright with support so necks don't kink. Low ethylene sensitivity. Hold at 34–38°F. Faces fixed at cutting — orient them deliberately when designing.
