Bupleurum

Care notes

Re-cut at 45° and hydrate with preservative; bupleurum drinks moderately but the fine stems flag fast when buckets run low. Strip lower foliage below the water line — the perfoliate leaves trap water against the stem and accelerate decay if submerged. Moderately ethylene-sensitive. Hold at 34–38°F. The umbel florets shed lightly when bunches are shaken; process gently and the loose bits stay in the bucket rather than on the linens.
